This very
popular region in the south west of France lies between the Pyrenees in the
south and the Loire to the north. Though known as the Dordogne nationally its is
call the Perigord by the locals.
The river Dordogne run east to west through the centre of the region before entering the Gironde at Bordeaux, on route it passes through the town of Bergerac.
